We respect intellectual property. Full stop. TecoBell.com is a fan-run, independent website and we take copyright seriously. If something on our site uses your work without permission, we want to know about it and we will deal with it fast. No runaround, no delays. This page explains exactly how that process works.

We Follow the DMCA Policy

TecoBell.com complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. This is a U.S. federal law that gives copyright owners a clear, legal way to request removal of content they believe infringes on their work. If that applies to you, here is what to do.

How to Submit a Copyright Infringement Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on TecoBell.com without your permission, send us a formal DMCA takedown notice. Your notice needs to include the following:

1. Your Contact Information Your full name, company name if applicable, mailing address, email address, and phone number.

2. Description of the Copyrighted Work Tell us clearly what work you own and believe has been infringed. Be as specific as possible.

3. The Exact URL Give us the direct link to the page on TecoBell.com where the infringing content appears.

4. Good Faith Statement A written statement saying you have a genuine belief that the use of the content is not authorized by you, your agent, or the law.

5. Accuracy Statement A statement confirming that all information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or legally authorized to act on their behalf — made under penalty of perjury.

6. Your Signature A physical or electronic signature to complete the notice.

Where to Send Your Notice

Email your DMCA takedown request to:

  • Email: contact@tecobell.com
  • Subject Line: DMCA Takedown Request

We review every notice we receive. Please make sure your notice includes everything listed above so we can process it without delays.

What Happens After We Receive Your Notice

Once we get a valid DMCA notice, here is what we do:

  • We review the claim carefully
  • We remove or disable access to the content in question
  • We notify the person who posted the content where applicable

We also reserve the right to permanently remove anyone who repeatedly violates copyright rules on our platform.

Counter Notification

If you are the person whose content was removed and you believe it was taken down by mistake or misidentification, you can send us a counter notice.

Your counter notice should include:

  • Your name, address, phone number, and email
  • A clear identification of the content that was removed
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed due to error or misidentification
  • Your consent to U.S. federal court jurisdiction
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Once we receive a valid counter notice, we may restore the content unless the original complainant files a legal action within 10 to 14 business days.

Do Not Abuse This Process

Filing a false or misleading DMCA notice is a serious matter. Under federal law, submitting fraudulent copyright claims can result in legal liability including damages and legal fees. Please only submit a notice if you have a genuine, good-faith belief that your copyright has been infringed.
